How to tie a Classical bridge
Nylon string Classical guitars are a little different than steel string acoustics. First the E, B, & G
strings are made of nylon. The D, A, & E are silk core with a silver wrap around it. They are
available in "Tie End" & "Ball End". Be sure to purchase the proper type for your guitar.
Traditional Classical strings are tied at the bridge and tuners. Ball end strings are NOT tied at
the bridge!

This is how to tie at the post (Tuning Machine)
end. It's quite simple, yet so many people don't
do it. As with acoustic and electric guitars, leave
about 2 frets worth of slack in the string before
winding. That slack is what gets wound onto the
post.
Wind the wrap towards the gear of the tuner.
Nylon string sets stretch alot when first tuned, so
you may have to re-tune several times.
For the standard wrap, pull about 3" of
string through the tie block.
Then bring the string end up and over
the tie block, run it under the string
and loop it toward the back edge of the
tie block.
Continue looping  (or tying) the string
as in the picture. The D, A, & E strings
should have about 2 - 3 ties/loops.
The G, B, & hi E nylon strings need
about 3-4 loops. The final twist should
be at the back edge of the tie block.
The loose end must be tucked in
under the string as it exits the string
hole in the back of the bridge.
